COMMITTEES

The foundation is constituted of the following committees overseeing different areas of the foundation’s objectives:

Education Project Management Committee

Committee Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Education Project Management Committee shall include, but shall not be limited to, ensuring that each family member understands the importance of education and achievement, ensuring that each child is afforded a proper education, arranging for the provision of educational financial support to all members of the family who so require, and ensuring the responsible allocation of such funds as well as the diligent pursuit of education by the recipient

The Onyima and Adure Obioha Family Reunion Committee

Purpose:

  • To provide a forum for the extended family to meet and interact
  • To provide a forum to review on-going programs related to the Onyima and Adure Obioha Family Foundation and its mission
  • To provide a forum for all members to raise personal and/or foundation issues

Committee Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Family Reunion Committee include selection of an appropriate time and location for the Onyima and Adure Obioha Family Reunion. Such reunion is to be held at least bi-annually. Additionally, committee members will be responsible for communicating reunion information, coordinating reunion activities and ensuring that each family member is able to attend.

Financial Planning Committee

Committee Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Financial Planning Committee shall include, but shall not be limited to, the administration and management of the financial resources of the Onyima and Adure Obioha Family Foundation. Additionally, the financial planning committee shall provide assistance to individual family members concerning their own financial planning needs.

Project Planning Committee

Committee Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Project Planning Committee shall include, but shall not be limited to, discussion and management of specific projects other than educational or individual projects.
