French Language Program at The Lagos Motherless Babies Home: Promoting Love of Eduation & Humanity
The foundation’s effort in promoting love of education and humanity through the introduction of the French language program at the Lagos State Motherless Babies Home is yielding dividends! We’re very much excited that over the past 18 months, the students participating in the program are becoming fluent in French.
This is in addition to their command of the English language as well as their respective native languages such as Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, etc. It’s a thing of joy to see these kids speak and interact with other French speaking people of Africa. And this encourages us here at the Onyima & Adure Obioha Family Foundation to continue moving forward and empowering those of less privilege circumstances with the knowledge and education needed to be better contributors to the human experience.
We’d like to share with you a recital of the French people “Ma Main” (“My Hand”) by these wonderful kids! Enjoy.
